Kansas City Violin/Fiddle
Combining classical, folk, and modern influences to create a melodic and ethereal sound
I began playing the violin at age six, which, while not exactly boosting my math skills as my mother had hoped, did introduce me to the universal language of music — a passion that has shaped my life ever since. After 15 years of Suzuki violin training, marching band, and playing in youth and college orchestras, I made the leap into the world of roots music at 21, joining a progressive band and embracing a new direction in my musical journey.
In 2014, I recorded my first album with the “thrashgrass” band Whiskey for the Lady, blending elements of bluegrass, rock, and punk. Today, I write, perform, and record with Kansas City-based bands Dimension Bill Edwards and Truck Bed Taxi, where I continue to explore a variety of genres and creative collaborations.
I’m available for hire for live performances, studio sessions, and wedding ceremonies — always eager to bring my diverse musical experience to new projects and opportunities.
